Common issues

  • I can't see my session photos

    Photos are delivered privately. If the photographer already delivered them, open Profile → Library. If they still don't show up, write to us with the date and the beach.

  • I can't upload a photo

    Try a JPEG or PNG copy and check your connection. Retry pending uploads from Sessions → Shoots.

  • I can't see nearby beaches

    Allow location access to sort beaches by distance. You can also search for a beach by name.

  • Someone is behaving badly

    You can block and report anyone from their profile. We review every report.

Your data: access, correct and delete

  • Correct

    Edit your name, role and photo from Profile → Edit profile.

  • Profile → Settings → Delete account

    Deletion is immediate and final. Originals a photographer already delivered to a surfer stay in that surfer's library, without the photographer's name.

  • If you signed in with Apple

    Write to hola@makaisurf.app and we'll delete your account: the website can't revoke Sign in with Apple yet.

  • A copy of your data

    Write to us from the account concerned and we'll send you a copy within 30 days.
